Virtual Machine Deployment Guide

This document is provided as an example on how the InfraTrack Web Portal VM Template can be imported in a VMWare ESX (ESXi) environment

Notes:

• This virtual machine does not include the InfraTrack web portal software. Follow instructions on how to install InfraTrack web portal software
• This template was tested on ESXI version 5.5
• Template last updated: 2014-06-22
• root account password: |)a55w0rd
• ssh account: infratrack
• ssh account password: |)a55w0rd
• Network configuration: DHCP (change to static after deployment)

Steps:

Download latest template from http://download.infra-track.com/itweb01.tar.gz and extract the content

Open your vSphere Client and connect to the ESX instance. From File menu, select "Deploy OVF Template"

Select the location of the itweb01.ovf file and click Next

Make sure you take note of the details section for this import

Feel free to change the name as needed but note that you will need to change the host name to match the name of the virtual machine

Select your datastore and click Next. A minimum of 41GB will need to be available on the datastore

Leave to default values

Check "Power on after deployment" and then "Finish"

The import process will start

and upon completion the virtual machine will be started
